Veja que a esposa do L1, com um visto L2 tem o direito de aplicar para a autorização de trabalho, mas os demais portadores do L2 não. Se você está aplicando e tem o L2, você vai precisar da sua certidão de casamento traduzida juramentada.

👍 O melhor é que ele consegue atender todo o país. Você não precisa morar perto dele. Os documentos podem ser enviados via correio ou e-mail, em alguns casos. Eu usei para Português-Inglês, mas ele traduz Espanhol também!

Atenção: para tradução de documentos para faculdade, você primeiro precisa verificar na faculdade se eles exigem que seja algum escritório específico. Muitas faculdades só aceitam se for feito pela indicação deles.

I´m going to post about the Employment Authorization Document (EAD) for the visa L2 soon.  It´s a huge text, but I´ve been working on that already. Just wait for it 😉...

Note that the spouse of a L1 with an L2 visa has the right to apply for an EAD, but not the other family members. If you're applying for the EAD and you have an L2 visa,  you´re going to need your Marriage Certificate translated by a certified translator.

$ How much is it? It depends on the service. You need to talk to him, send him the documents you want translated and he will reply to you with the quotation and deadline.

👍 A good thing is he can translate documents from all around the country. You don´t need to live close to him. You can send the documents by courier or by e-mail, sometimes. I used him for Portuguese-English translation, but he can translate from Spanish, too.

Attention: Documents for college application must be done by the translator pre-approved by the university. Maybe your college doesn't have this requirement, but you can check.
